Are you looking for an apartment that you can completely renovate and style to your own taste? Then this compact apartment of approximately 38 m², with its own roof terrace of approximately 13 m², is certainly worth viewing. This is a property where you can truly start from scratch. No kitchen or bathroom that is not quite to your taste but is still reflected in the purchase price – instead, you have the freedom to create a home entirely to your own specification.

And there are more advantages: the property is situated on freehold land and has 11 solar panels. Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport are within easy reach, while shops, public transport and the centre of Aalsmeer are all nearby.

LIVING
An external staircase leads to the spacious roof terrace, where you will find the entrance to the apartment on the first floor. From the hallway, the various rooms can be accessed.

The living room is surprisingly bright, with windows on two sides allowing plenty of natural light to enter and giving the room an open feel. The sloping rooflines also add character and atmosphere to the apartment.

A fixed staircase from the living room leads to the attic storage area. Due to its limited height, this space is not officially included in the living area, but it provides useful additional space for storage or other purposes.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is separate from the living room and currently has a simple layout. For anyone planning to modernise the apartment, this offers the opportunity to redesign the space in a smarter and more contemporary way.

SLEEPING
The bedroom is located next to the kitchen. The sloping roof gives the room a cosy feel. There is ample storage space behind the eaves, which could potentially be incorporated into the bedroom to create a larger sleeping area.

BATHROOM
The bathroom has a practical layout with a shower, toilet, washbasin and radiator. Here too, a new layout, sanitary fittings and tiling could transform the space into a fresh, modern bathroom.

OUTSIDE
A major advantage is the private roof terrace of approximately 13 m². The terrace faces north-east, but thanks to its open position it also benefits from afternoon sunshine. There is plenty of room for a dining table, lounge area or a generous collection of plants. For an apartment of this size, having your own outdoor space really does make a difference.

LOCATION
Machineweg is conveniently and centrally located in Aalsmeer, with all everyday amenities within easy reach. The lively centre of Aalsmeer, with its shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and terraces, is only a short distance away. Sports facilities and public transport are also nearby.

Aalsmeer is, of course, known for its green surroundings and abundance of water. The Westeinderplassen lakes are close by and offer plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, boating or simply relaxing by the water. This allows you to enjoy living away from the hustle and bustle of the city without losing the convenient connection to Amsterdam and the wider Randstad area.

Accessibility is another strong point. Schiphol Airport, Amstelveen and Amsterdam are all within easy reach, while the nearby main roads provide convenient connections to the A4, A5, A9 and A10 motorways.
