Rondleiding

Tour
On Stadhouderskade, in a recognisable position along the Singelgracht, lies this fully renovated apartment on the first floor of a characterful building dating from around 1880. The red brick façade, natural stone base, white window surrounds, and wrought-iron balconies give the building a classic appearance that suits this stately quay-side setting. The first floor is reached via the communal staircase. The entrance to the apartment opens into a central hallway, from which all rooms are accessible. The layout is clear and well organised, with the living room and kitchen on the north-east side, the bedrooms on the west side, and the sanitary spaces centrally positioned. The living room is bright and generously proportioned. Two tall windows offer views over the Singelgracht and the trees lining the quay. The floor is laid in a Mansion Weave pattern. Smoothly plastered walls and a calm finish give the space a refined base. Directly beside the living room is the kitchen, fitted with bespoke cabinetry, a worktop and backsplash in Calacatta Striatto marble with grey veining, a gunmetal sink, a gunmetal Quooker tap, and integrated Siemens and Bora appliances. The apartment has three bedrooms. Two bedrooms are located on the west side and are quietly positioned in relation to the living area. The third bedroom is next to the living room and is also suitable as a study, guest room, or children’s room. The bathroom is centrally located and fitted with a bathtub, walk-in shower, bespoke niches, marble, and tiling in warm reddish-brown and light tones. The separate toilet is luxuriously finished with a wall-mounted closet, a marble washbasin, and a bespoke mirror.
At the rear is an accessible flat roof. This outdoor space is not included in the official living area, but in practice it is highly usable. Thanks to its south-west-facing position, it enjoys sunshine in the afternoon and evening.

The renovation by Gwen Hoopman Interior Design has been carried out in full, with new floors, installations, kitchen, sanitary fittings, and finishes throughout.
